JOB DESCRIPTION – Inside Sales Account Manager

Summary:

For over 100 years, our family-owned business has made steel rings for commercial and aerospace applications As our Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with our customers to ensure orders are processed accurately and customers are kept up to date on the status of their orders.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Prepare Customer Quotes – We manufacture steel rings engineered to customer specifications. Using knowledge of our materials and processes, work with our engineering team to develop quotes for our customers.

· Order Entry – Receive and create customer sales orders and jobs in our Epicor computer system and acknowledge to the customer.

· Change Orders – Update customer orders to reflect requested changes to delivery dates.

· Open Order Reports – Create open order reports for customers, as needed.

· Coordinate Customer Shipments – Coordinate shipments with customers and prepare shipping documents.

Requirements:

· A positive and customer-centric attitude. Our customers make our jobs possible.

· Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Word and Excel.

· Manufacturing experience is required; Steel industry experience is a plus.

· Attention to detail to ensure accuracy. This is critical.

SRP Team Approach:

We work as a team, and we expect that our team members will be flexible and willing to learn and support SRP in areas outside your essential duties and responsibilities. Cross training allows for us to fill in for each other when needed. We have 10 employees in the office and 40 on the factory floor.

Work Environment:

· Teaming and communication is critical – this position is in the office – full time.

· Your work will be performed principally in the office; however, you will interact with our staff in our production area. You are expected to adhere to SRP Safety Rules when in production areas.

· Regular work hours are 8:30 to 5:00 with a 30-minute break for lunch.
