Contract role - September - January (possible hire)
Pay: $18-$22/hour (Depending on experience)
Location: Traverse City, MI (Hybrid - 2 days in office / 3 days from Home)
For over 60 years, our client has provided access to affordable and comprehensive healthcare coverage for individuals as well as small and large businesses. The Medicare Administrative Assistant will support general administrative functions, including answering phones and supporting team with enrollment duties for new and existing clients. Prepare documents, compile records, schedule meetings, and provide general office support. This role requires excellent customer service, as you will be the first touch for many callers.
Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service both internally and externally.
Receive phone inquiries regarding general Medicare questions and existing client policies.
Assist agents with client support and service, including plan research.
Respond to customer inquiries quickly and efficiently on behalf of Medicare agents.
Complete initial tasks for clients including sending out intake forms, pre-consult material, and scheduling.
Complete follow-up calls with clients in advance of scheduled meetings.
Aid agents in updating and documenting information in the client database, including post-enrollment follow up.
Assist colleagues with assigned tasks and projects within expected timelines.
Requirements
A passion for providing a white glove level of customer service.
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft Office software.
Understanding of Medicare beneficial
Capacity to quickly learn new information and apply it to your daily work-life.
Respectfully follow instructions given by Medicare Staff.
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience; some college preferred.
