PURCHASING AGENT
Established Industrial Security Systems Company based in Richmond, CA, Electronic Innovations, Inc. has been a leader in gates, access control, video surveillance and anti-terrorism technology, serving Northern California for over 40 years. We are looking for an amazing, experienced purchasing agent to collaborate & grow with our company! This is a full-time position with benefits; our posted hours are Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm. This position requires an early start 6:30am-3:30pm

The ideal candidate is highly motivated and dedicated to both our internal & external customers, can quickly assess problems with a solution-oriented approach, set clear expectations, and tailor procurement solutions to the ever-changing department / business needs.
Additionally, the ideal Purchasing Agent candidate:
Has a minimum of 3-5 years of similar experience.
Has a high level of integrity, a positive attitude, the ability to lead without ego and diffuse difficult situations when they arise.
Has excellent communication skills, can effectively interact with customers, vendors, staff, and department heads.
Is a seasoned negotiator, able to procure the best price and terms available in the market.
Possesses strong analytical skills, expert judgment, and a commonsense approach to addressing daily challenges.
The Purchasing Agent position is expected to perform the duties outlined below according to the required timelines.
Process / create PO's for the Service Department
Including Parts Sourcing – Evaluate cost & materials availability
Process Factory Repair Orders
Includes packaging & shipping defective items back to the manufacturer
Process parts / materials invoices in our Software Program
Includes monthly credit card reconciliation for the purchasing department
Parts / Materials Staging
For both the Projects & the Service Departments
Record, manage, and file PO’s
Schedule & Coordinate Fleet Maintenance with the corresponding department manager
Consumables / Inventory orders & stocking
Maintain stock of Safety Supplies
Process Inventory Transfers & Perform Inventory Counts
Operate forklift
Load & Unload Pallets, Steel Tubing, Steel Sheets, Gate Operator Systems & Vehicle Gates
Supervise warehouse and warehouse staff.
