Job Description

We are seeking experienced nurses for the Cardiac Thoracic ICU. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to care for patients recovering from open-heart surgery and managing various cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

Care for open-heart surgery patients and manage thoracic cases including VATS, ECMO, Impella, LVAD, IABP, CRRT, MIs, and CHF.

Utilize advanced medical equipment including vital signs machines, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, and IV pumps.

Administer and monitor treatments using chest tubes, tube feeding pumps, and oxygen delivery devices.

Assist with clinical procedures and support a learning environment for students and new hires. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience required.

Prior travel experience is mandatory.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
