Position Details: Hartford Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their energetic hospitalist team.

The Hospitalist program is large, vibrant, and growing!

The successful Advanced Practitioner will provide full-spectrum inpatient care, including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status.

New and experienced providers are met with a comprehensive orientation provided by our exceptional Physician and Advanced Practice Hospitalists.

Job Description The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) must have a minimum of three years of clinical experience in hospitalist medicine.

The APP Clinical Lead will collaborate closely with the APP Manager in the day-to-day management of the team, including ensuring adequate staffing, promoting efficient team functioning, and enhancing the quality of clinical practice.

Experience in Quality and Safety leadership is recommended, though not required.

Dedicated administrative time will be provided, as determined by the division—approximately a minimum of 4 hours per week (10% administrative, 90% clinical). Ten percent administrative time is roughly equivalent to 16–18 hours per month.
