East Coast Dock and Door, a trusted name in the construction industry, is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is a blend of field sales and office-based responsibilities—you’ll spend time meeting contractors and clients in person while also managing approvals, requests, and follow-ups from the office. Construction and blueprint reading experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and project managers
Construction and blueprint reading experience a plus.
Present and sell company products and services both in the field and over the phone/email
Respond to contractor requests, approvals, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Prospect new clients while also managing existing accounts
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless project communication
Track opportunities, proposals, and follow-ups to meet and exceed sales targets
Maintain accurate records of activity and client interactions in company systems
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales (construction, building materials, or related industry preferred)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to balance time between field sales and office responsibilities
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple requests at once
Familiarity with CRM software or other sales tracking systems a plus
Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed sales goals
