Job Description

We are seeking a Neapolitan-Style Pizza Cook to join our team! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals prepared in our kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Prepare all served food

Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours

Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions

Follow standard recipes and techniques

Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields Ideal but not necessary

Familiar with Neapolitan-Style Pizza cooking & prep Ideal but not necessary

Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

Strong attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work well in teams

Be Kind to Staff & Customers

Comfortable Working Clean & Efficiently in an Open Kitchen

Pop-Start Pizza is a fast-casual restaurant in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, serving Neapolitan-style pizza inspired by the bold flavors of New York slice shops and the fun of pop culture nostalgia that are both classic and creative. Our menu celebrates the art of pizza-making with high-quality ingredients, a touch of retro charm, and a wink to iconic moments in music, film, and street culture. Designed for families, young adults, and anyone who loves great food with great vibes, Pop-Start is where classic taste meets playful charm.

Pop-Start is a small brick and mortar with 30 seats but will do volume with take-out and delivery. We aim to be a dynamic restaurant that will also offer alternative concept Pop-Ups as well as caterings with the right staff and team members.
