We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler Team Lead to join our operations team for our weekend shift (05:00am -05:30 pm Friday-Sunday. This role is critical in ensuring material availability, compliance with government regulations, and on-time production. The ideal candidate brings leadership experience, a safety-first mindset, an understanding of strict material control procedures, a solid understanding of warehouse operations, and a proactive, hands-on approach. In this role candidate will be required to operate a forklift and work directly with team. Candidate and candidate's team must adhere to department's material handling practices and procedures along with customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Verifies quantity, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation. Works with Oracle and other computer systems including both in-house programs and customer portals. Must be able to work with a team and collaborate with other departments to meet production needs.

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a High School Diploma and 3 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications a plus

3+ years of material handling or warehouse experience

Experience in leadership or team lead role

Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor)

Forklift certification (or ability to obtain); experience operating material handling equipment

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement

Preferred Skills and Education

Inventory Control Experience

+1 year in a leadership role

Working knowledge of defense regulations (ITAR, DFARS) and quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100)

Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor)

Ability to Support audits, reporting, and documentation for government and internal reviews

Experience in Training and mentoring team members in material handling, safety, and compliance procedures
