Position Summary:
The Site Materials & Logistic Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of semiconductor tool installation projects by managing on-site material flow and asset control. This position is responsible for inventory accuracy, timely delivery coordination, and maintaining compliance with cleanroom and ESD handling protocols. The role works closely with logistics teams, OEMs, and construction personnel to ensure materials and equipment are delivered and managed efficiently in a highly controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and log all materials and tool components using the inventory management system; verify packing slips, quantities, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with logistics teams, OEM reps, and install crews to ensure timely, just-in-time delivery of high-value equipment and components.
Maintain precise and auditable inventory records; perform regular cycle counts, month-end reconciliations, and resolve variances.
Track shipments and backorders; proactively communicate delivery status and material readiness to site leadership.
Oversee on-site asset management, ensuring all tools and company equipment are tracked, maintained, and returned in accordance with project standards.
Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and ESD-safe handling/storage procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-labeled material staging area based on customer specifications.
Investigate material receipt or pricing discrepancies; assist with invoice reconciliation in partnership with procurement and finance teams.
Collaborate across teams to identify process improvements, reduce material waste, and streamline logistics.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and clients to support overall project success.
Perform additional duties as needed to support the timely execution of semiconductor tool installation activities. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in logistics, inventory, or supply chain management is an asset.
2+ years of experience in materials or inventory control, ideally within the semiconductor, high-tech, or cleanroom construction sector.
Familiarity with inventory systems and software; strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Proven ability to thrive in schedule-driven environments with high attention to detail.
Understanding of cleanroom protocols and ESD-compliant material handling.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting OEMs or construction teams in semiconductor/fab environments is strongly preferred. Working Conditions:
This position is located on a live construction site within a cleanroom-controlled semiconductor facility.
Tasks may involve physical activity including climbing, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and navigating uneven surfaces, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Use of PPE, including cleanroom garments, is required.
May require occasional extended hours based on project milestones or delivery schedules.
