Estimator - Construction

Job Summary:

Prepares full estimates on project bids. Provides final estimating. Deals with, Construction Managers, General Contractors, and Architects.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Review Plans and Specs to determine scope of work of the estimate

Discuss the extent of the work prior to bidding.

Write up of the project estimate, sent out in a timely manner

Previous Estimating experience preferred

Projection of labor and material costs required

Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures

Review and incorporate historical data from previous subcontracts

Other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Abilities:

Technically proficient in Microsoft Office

Mathematical abilities needed

Written and verbal communication skills

Decision-making / problem-solving skills required.

Previous experience with the following programs or similar preferred; Building Connected, Bluebeam and Procore
