Your responsibilities will include:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Australia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex electrical engineering solutions that support our cutting-edge aerospace and defence projects.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the design, development and implementation of electrical systems and components

Lead a team of electrical engineers to ensure projects design meets the customer needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger system architectures

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to more junior members of the engineering team

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality and regulatory requirements

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

About you:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

10+ years' experience as an Electrical Engineer, with a proven track record of leading complex projects

Extensive knowledge of electrical design, analysis and testing and verification techniques

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Experience working in the aerospace or defence industry is highly desirable

Ability to obtain the necessary security clearances

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
