Description
Vertiv Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Intern to join our Field Operations team. This internship offers hands-on experience in Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies, supporting initiatives that drive operational excellence across service delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct process audits and support workplace organization improvements
Perform time studies and analyze service processes
Assist in Process and Value Stream Mapping and identification of process bottlenecks
Support implementation of Visual Management tools and dashboards
Participate in Kaizen events and root cause analysis activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and standardize best practices
Contribute to data collection and reporting for CI metrics and KPIs
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Self-starter with a passion for process improvement
Preferred Skills:
Experience with time studies or process mapping
Exposure to manufacturing or service operations environments
Knowledge of Power BI or similar analytics platforms
