Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Illinois is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) to join our growing outpatient team. This is a full-time, ambulatory care position offering an excellent opportunity to serve a diverse patient population in a collaborative, high-quality medical environment.
Position Summary:
Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule in an outpatient primary care setting
Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Promote preventive health and patient education
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and support staff
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Participate in team-based care and quality improvement initiatives
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Current and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
DEA license required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate patient care

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $275,000-$280,000. on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
