Job Title: Locum Physician - Pediatrics

Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team in Pendleton, Oregon where St. Anthony Hospital is seeking 1-2 Pediatric physicians. This facility is committed to providing exceptional care to pediatric patients and offers a supportive environment for its medical staff. Job Responsibilities:

Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for newborn care from OB, admission consults from ED, and monitoring neonate and pediatric patients.

Expected to round daily for approximately 1-4 hours, being the primary care provider for newborn and pediatric patients.

Demonstrate expertise in neonatal resuscitation, intubation, and emergency medications necessary for the stabilization and transfer of patients.

Handle admissions, averaging about one per month through the ED.

Manage patient loads varying from 0 to 6 patients per day.

Complete necessary documentation and report on patient care experiences. Qualifications:

Board Certified in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with significant pediatric and neonatal experience.

Completed a 3-year Pediatric Residency program.

PALS and NRP certifications are required.

Experience providing inpatient care to at least 24 patients as the attending physician in the past 24 months.

Comfortable working as a solo provider without backup coverage. License and Certification Requirements:

Valid Oregon state medical license.

ACLS and BLS certifications.

Clean malpractice and background history preferred.
