Position: Bilingual Pre-Suit Personal Injury Legal Assistant

About the Role

Reclatam is seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support a U.S.-based law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-suit personal injury cases, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Manage pre-suit personal injury cases from start to finish, including client intake, claims management, medical record requests, and settlement negotiations.

Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish, ensuring clarity and comfort for Spanish-speaking clients.

Screen incoming calls and provide accurate, professional information to clients.

Utilize Case Peer software (and integration with Case Status) along with the Microsoft Office Suite to manage case files and documentation.

Adapt to firm workflows and processes, including flexible working hours if required.

Qualifications

Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

Proven experience in pre-suit personal injury cases.

Strong understanding of Virginia, Maryland, or D.C. laws preferred but not mandatory.

Proficiency in Case Peer, Case Status, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
