Job Description:
Lead and develop the Human Resources function, acting as a trusted advocate for employees to drive meaningful policy and cultural improvements.
Develop and operate HR systems designed to energize and activate the workforce.
Oversee the broader corporate functions, including Finance and IT (either directly as a GM or as a development goal for a Manager-level hire).
Serve as a key strategic advisor to senior leadership on all corporate and cultural matters.
Mentor and guide teams, fostering a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
Proactively identify challenges within the organization and execute strategic solutions.
Requirements:
An empathetic, approachable, and influential personality
10 years or above experience in strategic Human Resources, with a focus on project-based initiatives over routine tasks.
Ideally, candidates will have senior leadership experience (e.g., as a General Manager) with a broad, practical understanding of Finance, HR, and IT.
For senior-level consideration, being a Hong Kong national with deep knowledge of the local business culture is required.
Candidates with a strong HR background and demonstrable ambition to grow into a General Manager role are also strongly encouraged to apply. (Less experience will be considered for the Senior/HR Manager title).
Must possess a proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
Business level in Japanese (N1 or above) and English, Native Cantonese
Ability to understand and navigate the nuances of Japanese communication.
