Key responsibilities
1. Product Inspection and Testing:
Conduct thorough inspections of products as needed to ensure they meet predefined quality standards.
Inline/final inspection according to office QC/QA schedule/planning
Issue Inline/final inspection report for each shipment/item using our company inspection report template
Trouble shooting follow up according to QC manager approved CAP
Perform functionality, visual, and physical tests on products as needed.
Send comments to internal teams and suppliers
Follow up on Product Development sample/material/quality check requested by USA and Canada Office
Quality inspection report issue for Product Development sample
New factory visits and assessment when required
Inspection and Testing Include but Are Not Limited To:
New Production (RO) Process:
Understand customer requirements, review test protocols, determine in-house testing criteria, supervise in-house pre-testing verify samples before sending them to the lab,
Annual Testing:
Verify and approve samples before lab submission; review and approve pre-testing reports,
First Sample (Green Seal) Approval:
Verification and approval Green Seal sample after rollout or annual testing process completion.
Product Development Support:
Participate in the product development process by verifying samples and providing relevant feedback.
Pilot/Inline Inspections:
Participate in pilot and inline inspections as needed.
Other Testing and Inspections:
Conduct any additional testing or inspection activities as required.
2. Supplier and Vendor Collaboration:
Communicate quality concerns to suppliers and vendors and work on corrective actions.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Follow up with suppliers on periodic testing
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in the quality control process and suggest actionable solutions.
Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures and standards.
3.Compliance and Standards:
Ensure products comply with regulatory and company standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in quality regulations.
4.Team Coordination:
Work closely and provide guidance to purchasing, merchandising, and operations teams to address quality issues.
Provide training and guidance on quality standards to team members as needed.
Attend online and in person trainings by customers and labs
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in quality control, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft software suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and others.
Proficiency in quality management tools and software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
Knowledge of color standards with a strong ability to discern and evaluate colors accurately.
Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
Knowledge of third-party lab testing processes
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Team player with a proactive attitude.
Travel to factory locations in Cambodia
Salary range
USD 1000 to 2000 gross
