Job Title: Software Engineer (Core Java)

Role Type: W2 only

Job Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Technical Skills ranking:

Core Java + JUnit Testing

Experience code reviewing/coaching/mentoring junior engineers

React and Micro frontend development

Microservices development

Automation/ BDD testing

Additional Required Qualifications:

3+ years of Core Java and Spring experience

3+ years of RESTful or GraphQL web services and knowledge of Microservices Desired Qualifications:

BA/BS/BE degree or higher in Information Technology, computer science, or Engineering

4+ years of Agile experience

Experience with Kafka

Experience with Microservices

5+ years' experience with SDLC tools and processes, including GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Harness

Use of BDD and automation testing, including Selenium, HyperExecute, Octane

Use of performance Engineering tools like Blazemeter or JMeter

5+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience

3+ years of Mongo DB experience

1+ year Azure-Kubernetes, Docker or similar cloud experience

1+ year React or modern UI frameworks

4+ years of experience in developing JUnit test cases

2+ years of Single Page Application (SPA) with micro frontend experience

Expertise in designing and developing cloud-native applications Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
