Are you a passionate General Medicine Provider seeking a flexible opportunity to contribute to healthcare services nationwide? We are currently recruiting General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams + Separation Health Assessments across the country. Details:
Availability: This position offers PRN coverage, providing ongoing opportunities for flexible scheduling.
Specialties Accepted: We welcome professionals from various medical backgrounds, including family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone experienced in general medicine or compensation and pension exams.
Coverage Options: Choose between traveling to perform exams at a leased facility and/or scheduling appointments within your own practice, providing autonomy and convenience.
Shift Options: Work either days (4-hours) or full days (8-hours), accommodating your schedule and preferences.
Exam Details: Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments, primarily interview-based with physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment involved.
Credentialing: Benefit from a streamlined credentialing and onboarding process for quick start to your assignments.
DMA Certification: Certification available with the opportunity to earn CME credits. Obtain certification if not already privileged.
Equipment: Utilize a Goniometer and your personal laptop (NO MACs) during examinations.
Training: Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to ensure accurate completion and adherence to standardized procedures.
Reporting: Submit completed DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, focusing on standardized form(s) completion rather than narrative reports.
Evaluation Process: Utilize the provider portal for efficient completion of evaluations and documentation.
Record Review: Active participation in record reviews required to maintain thorough patient assessments and documentation.
Administrative Work: Regular follow-up administrative tasks include addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics to uphold comprehensive patient records.
