No call, no weekends

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a broad scope of clinical expertise to provide comprehensive, preventative, and acute care to patients of all ages. This role requires a commitment to quality patient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team-based practice model.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide Comprehensive Outpatient Care

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions across all age groups.

Deliver preventative care, including wellness exams, immunizations, cancer screenings, and lifestyle counseling.

Perform minor office procedures as appropriate to the scope of practice (e.g., suturing, skin biopsies, joint injections, etc.).

Care Coordination & Chronic Disease Management

Create individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease.

Collaborate with specialists, care coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to manage referrals and ensure continuity of care.

Follow up with patients to monitor progress and adherence to care plans.

Documentation and Compliance

Accurately document all patient encounters and procedures in the clinics EMR system.

Ensure timely submission of visit data and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Professional Development and Leadership

Stay current with developments in evidence-based family medicine and primary care practices.

Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to advanced practice providers (APPs) and other team members.

Report regularly to clinic leadership regarding operations, patient outcomes, and team collaboration.

Adjust care approaches based on individual patient needs and evolving medical conditions.

Think critically in urgent or complex care situations to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Comfortably manage diverse patient populations in a fast-paced rural clinic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.

Active or eligible for medical licensure in states we serve.

Experience:

Prior experience working in rural or underserved healthcare settings preferred.

Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse patient population and collaborate across care teams.

Proven ability to work in a productivity-based model where performance drives earning potential.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
