Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with physical impairments, disabilities, and both acute and chronic pain conditions. This role requires advanced clinical expertise, proficiency in interventional procedures, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based practice.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assess and Treat Elective and Urgent Pain Consultations
Provide evidence-based medical and/or interventional pain management to patients based on clinical indications and high standards of care.
Collaborate with Regional Managers and the VP of Clinical Performance to ensure consistency and quality in patient care delivery across all locations.
Develop and Execute Individualized, Evidence-Based Pain Management Plans
Perform advanced pain management interventions using techniques such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound, including but not limited to:
Epidural steroid injections
Nerve blocks
Joint injections
Trigger point injections
Radiofrequency ablations
Select and administer appropriate pre-anesthetic or pain-relieving medications tailored to individual patient needs.
Monitor Patient Progress Before, During, and After Procedures
Continuously assess patient conditions and report changes to the Medical Director, VP of Clinical Performance, or other collaborating providers.
Conduct thorough follow-ups to evaluate patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Documentation and Compliance
Accurately document all procedures, consultations, and patient interactions in the clinics EMR system.
Ensure timely submission of visit claims data and compliance with regulatory standards.

Train and mentor new CRNAs and APPs, promoting collaboration aligned with the companys values.
Engage in professional development to maintain licensure and stay informed about the latest clinical techniques.
Report regularly to clinic leadership (Medical Director, Regional Managers, VP of Clinical Performance) regarding clinic operations, patient outcomes, and team performance.
Actively participate in team meetings, educational events, and clinic social activities.
Work within a multidisciplinary team, modifying treatment approaches as patient needs evolve.
Effectively manage complications when they arise.
Think through complex pathology and co-morbidities to minimize risk while addressing the patients pain effectively.
Manage high patient volumes and diverse patient complexity.
Minimum Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Valid state medical license or eligibility in our operating states.
Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Proven ability to work independently and lead in high-pressure clinical settings.
Flexibility to travel or provide care across multiple clinic locations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strong desire to collaborate with other providers to build key relationships that drive new business.

Experience:
Minimum of three years in interventional pain management.
Prior experience in rural or underserved communities is preferred.
Advanced expertise in ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopic procedures is preferred.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
