Extruder Operator- manufacturing & re-grinding our plastic lining material. 1st shift 6:00AM-2:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY

The extruder operator is responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the machines and the overall quality of all lining material used in the metal cap and phenolic cap departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Use caliper to measure for correct thickness of the material.

Responsible for tracking which material is mixed with virgin material.

Grind punched material as needed.

Label color of material on each box for tracking purposes.

Pull completed rolls off machine.

Add rolls of lining material to be cut to correct thickness.

Responsible for cleanliness of the area.

Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

6 plus months experience in Manufacturing.
