Position: Human Resource Manager

Salary: 75-80k + benefits

Location: Vienna, VA - (This is a largely remote opportunity that requires an onsite presence *as needed* and therefore candidates in the DMV are highly preferred).

Our client is searching for an energetic Human Resources Manager with a strong background in onboarding and benefits administration and a working knowledge of mortgage processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing HR operations, including investigations, employee relations, and compliance, with the opportunity to contribute to a growing team. Experience with Rippling HR systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full-cycle onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.

Oversee employee benefits administration and support staff in understanding and utilizing their benefits packages.

Handle HR compliance, including managing employee relations and performance issues investigations.

Provide HR support to teams involved in mortgage-related processes and functions.

Maintain employee records and HR data in Rippling (or similar HR systems).

Partner with department heads to align HR strategies with business goals.

Stay current with employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in an HR management role.

Strong onboarding and employee relations skills.

Familiarity with mortgage processes and employee benefits.

Some experience conducting HR investigations.

Knowledge of HR software (Rippling is a plus).

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

A growth mindset, hardworking, and a team player.

Preferred:

SHRM-CP, PHR, or relevant HR certification.

Experience in the financial or mortgage industry.
