Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in federal government operations, defense, intelligence, and homeland security. The ideal candidate brings expertise working with Title 10 and Title 50 authorities, as well as experience engaging with agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of State (DoS). This role will be instrumental in driving growth, shaping capture strategies, and expanding our footprint within the federal and national security markets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, DHS, and Department of State.
Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, program managers, and acquisition officials.
Lead capture efforts, including customer engagement, competitor analysis, and solution shaping.
Collaborate with proposal, pricing, and technical teams to develop winning strategies and compliant proposals.
Leverage deep knowledge of Title 10 and Title 50 mission sets to align company solutions with customer requirements.
Track market trends, budgets, and procurement forecasts to inform pipeline development.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.
Support strategic partnerships with prime contractors, subcontractors, and technology providers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Security Studies, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5–10 years of experience in business development, capture, or program management within the federal government or supporting contractors.
Demonstrated knowledge of DoD, IC, DHS, and State Department missions, acquisition processes, and funding mechanisms.
Hands-on experience with Title 10 (military operations) and Title 50 (intelligence operations) authorities.
Proven ability to build strong client relationships and drive revenue growth.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain).
