We are seeking a Microsoft Systems Administrator with strong Azure expertise to help us establish and manage a new cloud and hybrid environment. This is a hands-on, mid-level role ideal for someone who can take ownership, build from the ground up, and ensure long-term operational stability. This role is contract to permanent (full time).

Responsibilities

Build, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure environments (compute, storage, identity).

Administer Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Support hybrid integrations between on-premises and Azure services.

Monitor system health, patching, backups, and security compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on migrations and modernization projects.

Document build processes, standards, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications

6+ years overall Microsoft Systems Administration (Windows Server, AD, GPO, networking fundamentals).

3+ years hands-on Azure administration (compute, IAM, policy, monitoring).

Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and automation preferred.

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
