Student Assistant, Center of Excellence Supply Chain Planning - Viby

Then join our team in Center of Excellence in Supply Chain Planning at the head office in Viby, Aarhus. We are currently looking to recruit a student assistant to support us in our work.

The Center of Excellence for Supply Chain Planning is a newly established team of six colleagues — five based in Viby, Denmark, and one in the UK. We support all operational planning departments across Arla and collaborate closely with teams in multiple countries. Our mission is to drive efficiency, value and best practices within supply chain planning, covering everything from production planning and scheduling to warehouse replenishment.

How will you make an impact

Our team supports a major transformation currently taking place at Arla, involving new organizational structures, roles, systems, and ways of working. A key focus area is the rollout of a new planning system, starting with the first dairy at the end of 2025. We are responsible for supporting the preparation, implementation, and anchoring of these changes. In parallel, we assist in both urgent and long-term projects to optimize and improve planning processes across the business.

As our new Student Assistant, you will:

Support with data analysis in Excel and visualization in PowerPoint

Assist in the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of new planning systems and ways of working

Participate in driving efficiency and optimization projects

Help create overviews and support project management for urgent topics

Take part in various tasks that help ensure optimal planning across Arla

What will make you successful?

We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in planning, optimization and data analysis. You are willing to take on new projects and tasks and are curious to understand root causes in your problem-solving. Furthermore we see you:

Are currently studying a relevant field such as MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Value Chain Management, or similar

Obtain strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint

Can communicate effectively in English.

The position is framed to be 15 hours in average per week. There will be some flexibility around placement of hours and place to work.
