[What the role is]The Data Strategy section is part of CAAS’ Data and Performance Division, which is responsible for driving organisation and sector level sharing and usage of aviation data for the purpose of policymaking, planning, operations control, and research and development. The section develops data acquisition strategies, streamlines data governance processes, establishes data architecture and fosters data culture to promote best practices across data-related initiatives in support of long-term business objectives.
We are seeking highly organised and detail-oriented candidates to join the Data Strategy team to provide comprehensive administrative and data management support. As part of the team, you will ensure the smooth operations of essential administrative functions such as coordinating meetings, travel arrangements and training. Beyond core administrative duties, you will play a crucial role in our data management work, including helping to prepare statistical reports, maintain our Enterprise Data Management System and support various data governance initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative excellence with data management capabilities.
[What you will be working on]
Key responsibilities include the following:
Data Management
Support the maintenance and updating of the Enterprise Data Management System
Prepare statistical reports and attend to requests on the statistics
Support the development and maintenance of the data competency framework
Contribute to data governance initiatives and documentation
Prepare and distribute Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) communications
Division Administration and Support
Coordinate and manage meeting schedules, including preparing meeting materials and tracking follow-up actions
Handle travel arrangements, including flight bookings and expense claims
Process and track training requests and maintain records of staff development activities
Manage Division's subscriptions and licensing requirements
Oversee and monitor the Division's budget and process invoices
Coordinate document management and filing systems
[What we are looking for]
Trained in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Statistics or related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in administrative management and data management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of data governance principles would be an advantage
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
A proactive, meticulous, and resourceful team player, with the initiative to drive tasks independently
