Full-time Monday–Friday

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing outstanding patient care? Orthopaedic Associates of Maine is looking for a Therapy and Injection Coordinator to become a key member of our Patient Access team in beautiful Portland, Maine!

This is your opportunity to work at Maine’s leading orthopaedic practice where innovation meets compassionate care. You’ll play a vital role in coordinating physical therapy and injection appointments, managing referrals, and providing exceptional front-line support to patients and clinical staff.

What You’ll Do

Schedule and manage therapy and injection appointments efficiently

Support smooth patient flow by organizing referrals and pre-authorizations

Communicate with providers and patients to confirm information and answer questions

Help patients navigate their care with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy

Keep patient records and insurance info up to date

Manage medical documents, faxes, and forms with care and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

A high school diploma (required)

2+ years’ experience in a medical office or healthcare setting

Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills

Comfort using EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and handling confidential information

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently

Knowledge of orthopaedics and experience with scheduling a plus!
