About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Team Lead to guide our development team and oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a hands-on approach to delivering scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring code quality through reviews and guidance.

Architect, design, and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Opencart).

Collaborate with project managers, designers, and QA for timely product delivery.

Manage server configurations, deployments, backups, and application security.

Establish coding standards and enforce best practices for reusability and maintainability.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.

Handle Git-based version control and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor server health and ensure 24/7 uptime for critical applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

4+ years in PHP development, with 2+ years in a lead/senior role.

Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, AJAX, and third-party integrations.

Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.

Experience in server management (Linux, Apache/Nginx, VPS, cPanel, SSL, firewalls, etc.).

Familiarity with domain booking, renewal, and DNS management.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is a plus.

Proficient in Git, version control, and deployment workflows.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
