ABOUT THE ROLE
All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safey rules are followed and the individual works as a team member. The primary responsibilities of this position are:
Keeping all plant production and service equipment in reliable operating condition, and
Maintenance of equipment on the Plant
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Perform maintenance work on plant production and service equipment
Maintain tools used within the department
Responsible for repair and elimination of product spillage
Operate equipment such as forklift, skid loader and teleforker
Operate heavy equipment such as chainfalls and comealongs
Must be able to work overtime as necessary
Must be able to work independently as well as in teams
Perform maintenance duties in accordance with safety procedures
Perform maintenance duties following standard work instructions to ensure proper utilization
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Education: High School diploma/GED
Required Work Experience: 1 year
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to partake in additional training to prepare for future advancement.
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
