Arizona Athletic Grounds (AAG) in Mesa, AZ is one of the nation’s largest youth sports and event facilities, featuring multiple fields, courts, stadiums, and performance facilities. As part of the Food & Beverage team, you’ll help prepare, maintain and deliver exceptional service to major events such as professional soccer, top-tier basketball & volleyball, professional boxing, MMA, baseball, softball, national pickleball competitions, cheer and gymnastics showcases, special events, markets and more.

Position Summary

All AAG employees make our Guests & Athletes feel welcome, and support teammates to ensure all areas of AAG food & Beverage, grounds, and equipment are cared for to help ensure a safe and exceptional experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain inventory levels at multiple concession outlets throughout events.

Deliver products and supplies to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.

Load, unload, and organize inventory in the warehouse and at concession stands.

Assist with restocking shelves, food truck and storage areas as needed.

Operate a golf cart or small utility vehicle to transport goods between locations.

Communicate with concessions staff and management to respond to product requests.

Ensure all products are handled in compliance with food safety and handling guidelines.

Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.

Responds and assists with all guest service issues concerning the food and beverage operation and notify the Food and Beverage Manager of all issues.

Assist in additional duties and events as needed.

Experience and Qualifications

Prior warehouse, inventory, or delivery experience preferred.

Experience in a food service, concessions, or event environment a plus.

Basic understanding of inventory tracking processes.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other kitchen and front-line staff.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, often during peak event hours.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

A valid driver’s license is required to operate golf carts.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Physical and Other Job Requirements

Required availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40-50 lbs. repeatedly.

Comfortable with frequent bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.

Ability to work in varying temperatures (indoor and outdoor environments).

Capable of operating a golf cart or small utility vehicle safely.

Stamina to work on foot for most of the shift.

Must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise levels and busy environments.

May work in high/low temperature climates inside or outside at events at AAG.

Walking, standing for periods of time, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and bending
