Job Description SummaryInternal Audit is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization's operations. It helps an organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Job Description

As an Internal Audit intern, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about Nationwide’s business operations and key audit concepts, expanding your communication and problem-solving skills, and even test your hand with new technologies. This internship will be based out of our Columbus, Ohio office throughout the 12 week experience.

Qualifications

Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data & Analytics, Information Systems within 2-3 semesters of graduation

Academic excellence (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred)

Experiences that demonstrate leadership qualities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program. At its sole discretion, Nationwide determines whether to offer sponsorship for qualifying positions based on business need and budget. However, it is not usually available for entry level roles.
