Are you passionate about providing top-notch customer service? GFL Environmental is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Saskatchewan!

In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers and will communicate with drivers to resolve issues during routes. Given its crucial role in achieving our customer satisfaction goals, this position shapes the public perception of GFL, reflecting our values. We're seeking a dynamic individual with strong organizational skills, confidence in building customer relationships, and effective communication abilities. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, embracing the opportunity to address complex challenges.

This is in office position based in Estevan, Regina or Saskatoon.

Requirements:

High School or post-secondary education

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong customer focus

Responsible individual with high energy and a positive attitude

Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills

Enthusiastic self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven track record for success

Reliable team player that is supportive of company drivers and co-workers

Previous administrative or customer service experience considered an asset

Computer literacy is considered an asset

Work experience in the waste, recycling or environmental services industries considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide operational support as needed

Schedule service and satisfy customer needs for service changes. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies

Review route sheets for proper days end data entry

Interacts with customers, customer service department, sales, & Operations staff

Fields incoming calls / emails from customers in a professional manner

Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via email, telephone and two-way devices

Assist with month end billing process as directed

Assist with daily administrative duties like deposits, reconciliation and fact checking data entry

Other duties as assigned.
