**REQUIRED: 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice Card with 3 years' experience as an Electrical Apprentice - Idaho or Washington**
**Must be actively enrolled in an Electrical Apprenticeship program **
Our team is growing, and we are looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join our team! As a member of our residential service company, you will work alongside experienced electricians to gain practical experience and technical skills in all aspects of electrical work related to residential properties. You will assist in troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in homes while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards. This role offers valuable hands-on training and opportunities for growth within the electrical industry.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential properties.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to understand electrical layouts and requirements.
Assist in wiring, rewiring, and upgrading electrical systems, including outlets, switches, fixtures, panels and circuit breakers.
Work with various hand and power tools safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced electricians.
Learn to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
Assist in testing electrical systems for functionality and safety, including conducting voltage tests and inspections.
Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
Continuously learn and improve technical skills through on-the-job training, workshops, and educational opportunities.
Requirements:
2nd Year Electrical Apprentice Card
High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years' experience as an Electrical Apprentice
Currently enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program.
Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts.
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in the electrical field.
