We are seeking a motivated and certified Entry-Level HVAC Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed all required HVAC certifications and are ready to apply their skills in a commercial setting. The technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC/R systems at various commercial job sites. (Must reside in or be willing to travel to the Columbus area daily)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on commercial HVAC/R systems
Troubleshoot and repair worn or defective components, wiring, and equipment
Diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Travel to various job sites as required
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
Qualifications:
Completion of all required HVAC certifications (EPA 608, HVAC/R diploma or equivalent)
Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must reside in or be willing to travel to the Columbus, OH area
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
Preferred Skills
Prior hands-on experience through internships or training programs
Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems and tools
Good communication and customer service skills
