Job Summary:
As a Delivery Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their products. Safely and efficiently operate a tractor trailer from our warehouse, delivering products according to customer needs and company standards.

Responsibilities:
Unload products from the trailer by hand or using a hand cart in various weather conditions and store them according to customer specifications.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports, and ensure invoices are accurate.
Implement food safety protocols to maintain product quality, ensuring proper temperatures in the delivery vehicle and preventing cross-contamination.
Build strong relationships with customers through excellent and courteous service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience, or completion of a driving school.
1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience required; food and beverage delivery experience is a plus.
Certifications:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and insurability to operate a vehicle are prerequisites for employment.
Key Skills:
Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe practices for lifting and delivering goods.
Skills include: Long-distance driving, communication with customers, problem-solving, and product delivery.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; frequently lifting products up to 50 pounds and moving heavier loads with a hand cart.
Climbing in and out of a tractor trailer, bending, reaching, and the ability to adjust vision for various distances are essential.
Work Environment:
Exposure to varying conditions, including wet, hot, and cold weather; overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying start times are necessary to meet customer needs.
