Elm City Trailer, a rapidly growing dealership in Bethany, CT, is seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a background in dealership service, parts sales, and inventory management, with a passion for delivering a positive and personable customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer facing and primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
Collaborating with other areas of the business to ensure that customers' needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist customers in selecting appropriate parts and accessories, offering recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences.
Process customer orders and manage inventory levels, collaborating with other departments as needed to ensure availability of products.
Handle customer complaints and escalations with empathy and a focus on finding effective solutions.
Contribute to overall team success by assisting with sales support, marketing initiatives, and other projects as assigned.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your industry knowledge and customer service skills.
Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience preferably a dealership environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service and support.
Familiarity with dealership service, parts sales, and inventory management processes.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a genuine interest in building relationships with customers.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Self-motivated with a commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
