Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeping and Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Office Manager to maintain accurate accounting and vendor records. Your responsibilities will include processing and verifying credit card transactions, maintaining online and paper vendor files, creating and maintaining customer folders and assisting with general office duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong computer skills.
Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process credit card receipts and match them to online transactions
Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions
Scanning or downloading receipts and moving them to appropriate online vendor files
Entering data into bookkeeping software (QuickBooks Online)
Download and organize bank and credit card statements
Reconciling company accounts
Highlighting discrepancies in company records and research possible reasons for errors or differences
Working with CPA firm as needed
Maintaining customer and vendor hardcopy filing systems.
Track project costs.
Handles other basic administrative duties as required
Qualifications
Previous experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk or similar position
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Adobe PDF
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
