Job Summary:

We're in search of a Recovery Coach Supervisor to work on a full time basis at our Outpatient Clinic in our Recovery Coaching Program, part of our Behavioral Health & Recovery Services Division. The recovery coach supervisor is accountable to the Director of Recovery Coaching, who is responsible for providing supervision and training. The recovery coach supervisor is one who actively promotes the philosophy of the Gándara Center, and maintains a high level of commitment to the program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate and support Peer Recovery Coaches.

Coordinate the scheduling of Recovery Coaches.

Call active clients to ensure that services are being met in a timely and professional manner.

Provide supervision in a manner that will address time management, scheduling, job performance, time off request, Recovery Coach whereabouts and all pertinent information pertaining to a Recovery Coach job description.

Model and encourage a supportive and productive team approach with fellow staff members, and coach staff as needed to maintain this attitude.

Liaison to referent agencies, coordinates intakes, and assigns referrals to Recovery Coaches

Insures the program and individual records are current, comprehensive and meet agency and funding source standards.

Oversee the scheduling of Recoverees by Recovery Coaches, progress notes and consents.

Facilitate individual and group supervision.

Liaison with families/guardians, and other outside service providers.

Completes all necessary weekly/monthly reports.

Perform case reviews to ensure accreditation.

Implements agency / department policies, procedures and employee disciplinary actions.

Provide on-call (cell-phone) coverage for the recoverees of the program. Respond to staff coverage, routine questions and system navigation

Supervises specialty recovery coaching with specific training on population including postpartum women, gambling, among others, as well as specific training and knowledge of special sites including emergency departments.

Coordinate Recovery Coach Program presentations in the community & create and maintain collaborative relationships with other organizations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Travel, as needed. Minimum Qualifications:

The Recovery Coach Supervisor must have Recovery Coach Academy certificate of completion

Must have completed the Recovery Coach Supervisor’s Training and seek / maintain state certification as a Recovery Coach

Have lived experience

have work experience with adults diagnosed with substance use and or dependency

This individual should have experience and knowledge regarding the addiction treatment service system, recovery coaching and multiple pathways of recovery. Two years acknowledged continuous Recovery

Valid driver’s license.

Own personal vehicle.

Must be able to travel for supervision, training, Recovery Coach events and oversight purposes.

Bilingual Preferred (Spanish/English)
