P1: 19.00 to 07.00 ( 7 Nights on and 7 Nights off)
P2: 19.00 TO 07.00 ( 7 Nights on and 7 Nights off)
Responsibilities for Hospital Security Guard
Patrol sensitive areas, monitor for suspicious activity, and secure facilities as needed
Assist visitors with navigation and provide first aid when required
Monitor and support patient safety, including missing/wandering patients
Respond to emergencies (Code White, fire alarms, missing persons, aggression, bomb threats)
Issue keys, passes, and manage equipment inventory
De-escalate and, when necessary, physically intervene in high-stress situations
Conduct audits of panic alarms, CCTV systems, and fire extinguishers
Assist with patient watch, safe walk/drive programs, and enforce parking regulations
Write detailed incident reports while maintaining strict patient confidentiality
Support law enforcement during serious or escalating incidents
Qualifications for Hospital Security Guard
Be authorized to work in Canada
Saskatchean Security Guard License Certificate
First aid certification - {an asset / required}
Ability to stand and walk entire shift
Ability to work independently
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond to emergencies
Demonstrated professionalism with strong interpersonal skills; able to build positive relationships and maintain a respectful presence on site
Comfortable using technology in the workplace; experience with CCTV systems is an asset
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is considered an asset
