Opportunity:
Looking for 2-3 general surgeons to work 7 10-day block schedules for 1 year.
1 general surgeon working at a time.
The onsite surgeon will attend to scheduled clinic patients Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., provide 24-hour call coverage, and provide post-op care, consultations scheduled and emergency surgery.
Average worked Callback Hours: 4 callback hours per 24 hour shift on call
Setting: Acute care and clinic practice
Duties: providers must be able to respond to traumas in the ED.
Days per month: 20 to be covered by the same two to three surgeons.
