Special Ed Teacher - Waterville, Maine

A school district in Waterville, ME, and surrounding areas, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the current school year.

This contract role focuses on supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction and tailored IEPs.

The ideal candidate will foster inclusive classrooms, collaborate with educators, families, and support staff, and implement specialized strategies for academic and social development.

Key responsibilities include developing and adapting IEPs, delivering instructional strategies, coordinating with general education teachers, monitoring student progress, maintaining documentation, engaging families, and participating in team meetings and professional development.
