Apprentice Plumber

About the Role We are hiring a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI.

This is an excellent opportunity to start a hands-on career in plumbing with paid training and a clear path toward becoming a licensed journeyman plumber.

You will work directly under licensed plumbers, assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance while learning the trade.

What You’ll DoAssist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial plumbing systemsCut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures (PVC, copper, steel, etc.)Support leak detection and pressure testing under supervisionMaintain tools, equipment, and worksite cleanlinessLoad/unload materials and keep service vehicles organizedProvide professional customer service on job sitesFollow safety guidelines and state plumbing codes What We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work (climbing, kneeling, bending)Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detailGood communication and teamwork skills Preferred:Previous experience in construction, plumbing, or related tradesState of Michigan plumbing apprentice registration Why Join Us?Paid, on-the-job training with experienced plumbersClear path to journeyman licensure (6,000 hours required in Michigan)Competitive pay with opportunities for raises as skills growFull benefits package (health insurance, retirement plan, PTO)*Stable year-round work in an essential trade
