Job Description
Salary: $20 - $35 hourly
Summary
The A&P Structures Mechanic must accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on all airplanes and perform inspections as required by the FAA.
Essential Functions
Performs structural modifications and repairs to aircraft
Assist the shop with meeting schedule needs to make on-time delivery of the aircraft to support missions.
Use precision measuring equipment and hand tools to fabricate, assemble and install aircraft structural components.
Works effectively with engineering in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements.
Operates all required ground support equipment.
Effectively troubleshoots and repairs all aircraft and customer systems.
Prompt and regular attendance.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. However, evening and weekend shifts may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
CONUS and OCONUS travel is required. As requested by the customer, travel canbe for extended durations.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
Minimum of three (3) years' experiencein Structural Aircraft Maintenance and Modification.
Aircraft Movement.
Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.
Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations, IPC and ATA codes.
Preferred Education and Experience
Six (6) years' of aircraft-related experience in Structural Maintenance and Modification.
King Air B350 structuralmodification.
Prior training experience on aircraft mechanical systems.
Other Hiring Requirements
Valid Driver's License.
US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Security Clearance.
Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
Must be able to obtain a passport.
MechanicalAptitude.
