EXECUTIVE – INTERNAL AUDIT

Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive - Internal Audit. The position exists to assist the finance function in proactively supporting the operational and finance requirements of the company. The position will be on a Fixed Term Contract basis and based in Ranala.

Job Responsibilities

Develop audit programs and conduct ad-hoc reviews to test and evaluate key risk areas related to trade claims.

Verify the accuracy of applied trade claims, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures, and maintain proper documentation.

Conduct thorough market audits of the company's trade claims.

Prepare and communicate timely observations and recommendations on internal controls to stakeholders and management and follow up on the effective implementation of action plans within agreed timelines.

Manage trade claims and improve current processes to ensure efficient reimbursement with effective controls.

Identify and initiate projects for cost savings and process improvement in areas identified through internal audits.

Person Specifications

Part qualified in Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA) or CIMA/ACCA.

A Degree in Management/ Finance/ Accounting will be an added advantage.

2-3 years of experience in handling internal audits, risk, and control with exposure to the manufacturing and FMCG industries will be a definite advantage.

An understanding of the operational/distribution behavior of a manufacturing company. Effective and efficient process management in manufacturing, sales and distribution environment.

Sound Knowledge in FMCG business, Accounting, SAP, Databases.
