About the Role:

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a knack for managing financial records and building vendor relationships? Robert Half is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role involves supporting the financial operations of a thriving organization, with the potential to convert to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, code, and process invoices accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies or outstanding balances.

Prepare payment runs and ensure payments are processed according to payment terms.

Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents to verify accuracy.

Perform monthly and ad hoc AP reporting, assisting in financial analysis as needed.

Maintain vendor records, including contact information and payment terms.

Address and respond to vendor inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.

Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment or processing issues.

What We're Looking For:

At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms).

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with matching purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents (three-way matching) preferred.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
