Job Description

The role involves performing composite fabrication and development for stealth aircraft, fighter jets, and military helicopters. Responsibilities include executing composite layup, vacuum bagging, sanding, and cutting, with a primary focus on fiberglass material. You will utilize various composite fabrication techniques, including autoclave and bagging materials, to complete production. Inspecting components and performing rework when necessary are also part of the job.

Responsibilities

Perform composite fabrication and development for stealth aircraft, fighter jets, and military helicopters.

Complete composite layup, vacuum bagging, sanding, and cutting, primarily focusing on fiberglass material.

Utilize various composite fabrication techniques, autoclave, and bagging materials to complete production.

Inspect components and perform rework as necessary.

Other duties may be assigned.Essential Skills

Active Secret Clearance

3+ years of composite fabrication experience

Experience with production, composite materials, vacuum bagging, layup, sanding, trimming, and composite fabrication for aircraftAdditional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with fiberglass and/or ROHACELL materials

Flexibility on shift schedules, primarily 1st or 2nd shift, but open to any shift

Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including some weekendsWhy Work Here?

This position offers the opportunity to maintain your clearance while working in a low cost of living area with very good pay. You will be contributing to the development of some of the military's newest aircraft.

Work Environment

You will be working at a manufacturing facility dedicated to the defense sector. The work environment requires flexibility in shift schedules and a commitment to mandatory overtime, including some weekends.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
