THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently looking for a HRIS Analyst to support the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of Citywide HR systems. Individual will serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and troubleshooting issues for Citywide HR staff; support system updates across HR modules, such as Talent HR, Absence Management, Benefits, and Employee Experience; collaborate across city departments to understand needs and translate needs into system solutions; assist with system upgrades and testing; and develop and deliver training sessions to enhance HRIS proficiency.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

2-3 years of experience working with HRIS systems and data management, experience in Ceridian Dayforce or a similar HRIS is desirable.

Understanding of HR processes, data analytics, and system integrations.

Advanced skills in Excel and other data analysis tools with the ability to build and manage detailed and visually engaging reports.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of HR compliance laws and regulations is a plus.

*This is not a hybrid or remote position. Individual will work in the office, Monday-Friday.

Under direction, is responsible for performing research, analysis, recommendation, and consultation to management on diverse or complex issues and matters having a fiscal or operational impact; performs related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional experience researching, analyzing, and makingrecommendations, OR providing consultation to management on fiscal or operational matters, or matters pertaining to public or business administration. Substitution(s): A master's degree may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.
