Laser Operator

Temp to Hire starting at $22 Per Hour

Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am

Hilliard, OH

The Laser Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a 2D laser cutting machine to cut metal parts accurately and efficiently. This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow, ensuring product quality, and supporting our manufacturing objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

Interpret and analyze blueprints, job orders, and material specifications.

Set up and operate the laser cutting machine to perform cutting operations on various metals.

Adjust machine settings and create or modify programs based on job requirements.

Inspect parts using calipers and tape measures to verify quality and accuracy.

Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and minor troubleshooting of laser equipment.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company guidelines.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who we’re looking for:

Minimum 1 year of experience operating a laser or similar precision cutting machine.

Familiarity with blueprint reading and use of precision measurement tools.

Ability to understand basic machine programming and material properties.

Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and a quality-first mindset.

Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.

Forklift experience.
