Our Mitigation Technicians work hard in often harsh conditions involving, smoke, water, mold, sewage, etc., to help people and properties recover from damage due to disasters. The ideal candidate will enjoy physical labor, have a positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and be 100% reliable and accountable. The position would be Part Time with the possibility of Full Time. Moving to Full Time would depend on you. It would be great if you have worked for a disaster restoration company in the past but not required. Here is a bit more information about the job:
Fire Damage-board up, structure stabilization, smoke cleaning & pack out
Water Damage-extraction, drying, minor demolition & pack out
Trash removal
Material/supply delivery
Mold Remediation
Restoration-contents manipulation, cleaning, small punch out tasks
On call rotation for new emergency calls
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects on a regular basis up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to work in confined spaces
Valid driver's license
Clean background check
Fluent English, Bilingual a plus
Willingness/ability to work some weekends and night hours as needed
IICRC certifications a plus
